Is CBS considering alternate programming for Thanksgiving afternoon?

Thanksgiving is only a week away woot! and one of the great Thanksgiving Day traditions, along with stuffing one's face and watching the Macy's parade, is watching football. Every year the Detroit Lions play a Turkey day football game followed by the Dallas Cowboys. While most years the Detroit Lions aren't particularly good anyway, this season they could go into Thanksgiving without a single victory under their belt. Worse yet (for Detroit fans), they could be facing an undefeated Tennessee Titans team on that day. which could make this the ultimate turkey game. doody

So will CBS, the network scheduled to broadcast the game, suddenly run a holiday themed special or movie in place of the game in all parts of the country except Tennessee and Michigan? Would watching Dawn of the Dead or Saving Private Ryan make turkey day diners less sick to their stomachs than watching the Detroit Lions? feeling ill Discuss.

FOOTBALL, FOOTBALL FOOTBALL
Two Pro games, then Texas-Texas A&M or another college game to end the day.
Go read a book for alternative programming.
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.
