I thought the movies were better than the book(s)

I RETRACT MY PROPOSAL! mad

i swear to god, i will never meet another soul who loves the books too. neutral

Girl, loads of people/geeks love those books lol . I know a couple of people anyway. It was sad what happened to Arwen at the end (its in the Appendices I think, and not the main part of the book}

Anyway, "the hobbit" was pretty rubbish, so you can hate on me for that if you want lol

I think I said before on hear I love those LOTR movies, but I havn't seem them that often (not yet anyway).

The Godfather III

I was lucky in that I didn't see any of the Godfather movies til much later in life than most people. I didn't get the chance to watch 'em until sometime during my early college years. And the first one I saw was the third installment. So I got to see it without the comparison of it's 2 predecessors.
And, IMO, on it's own, it's a very good mobster movie. Obviously, it can't compare to the first two, but in the genre of mob-flicks, it kicks it's own particuler brand of mafia ass.
Plus, with it's redemption-themed, politically-charged corporation/Vatican storyline,
it's a pretty goddamn smart movie, too.
Now while I haven't watched it as much as 1 & 2, I still like it & I still find watching the whole series as a trilogy to be quite a fulfilling movie-viewing experience.
Now, if only Sofia Coppola would've gotten shot at the beginning of the film instead of the end, maybe this flick would get a little more respect.

His style of walk is even more evident in "Malcolm X"...the scene when was stutting inside the bar with his red zoot suit....drool it should be a sin to have a walk that sexy....drool
