These are probably the top 10 movies that I've the most multiple times:

1. The Godfather - I could go on & on with why I agree with so many people of why this is such a great movie, but instead, I'll do a top 10 within a top 10 of reasons why I've watched this movie so many goddamn freakin' times:
10. The late great John Cazale.
9. Marlon Brando is back with a performance uniquely his own.
8. James Caan. IMO, his best performance ever & the best character in the movie.
7. All the "oranges=death/violent act" scenes.
6. Apollonia!!!
5. Vito Corleone's "...And that I do not forgive" speech during the meeting of the criminal masterminds.
4. Lines like "Sleeping with the fishes" or " Time to take out the mattresses", phrases that have since become part of popular culture.
3. Sonny's death scene.
2. The theme song.
1. Francis Ford Coppola's masterful use of foreshadowing.
Example:When Luca Brasi ( the guy who ends up sleeping with the fishes) goes to make a deal with the rival crime-family, he walks thru a glass door that leads to the bar where he will meet his end. As the door closes, the scene is shot looking at Luca from behind, setting up the shot to so that you will notice fish designs that have been engraved into the glass & give the impression that they are surrounding Luca's body.
Awesome.
Simply awesome.

Hon, hands down, The best movie of all time...but how in the world can you forget the "Fredo you are my older brother, and I love you, but don't ever take sides against the family.....ever." scene????

WHEWwwww WEEEEE!!!! Have u ever paid attention to the cool demeanor of Michael Corleone in that scene???? The smoke from his cigarette even simmers down when he makes that statement to his brother. And he sitting in that chair with his legs crossed like nobody's business!!!!! drool can't nobody portray that man better than Al...he was perfect. I can watch that scene over and over again and still get the same sexy chill down my spine when I watch it. It just does it for me everytime.

And can we please not forget the way Michael was walking back to the house after Clemenza violently strangled Carlo in the car??? Whew child, it is AT THAT MOMENT THAT YOU KNOW NOT TO FUCK WITH MICHAEL!!

Another cool scene:
When Kay points towards the shot up & burnt up car & asks Tom Hagan what happened,
he responds "An accident. But nobody was hurt".
If you notice closely, you'll see a wry smile on his face.

I cannot begin to explain how much I love these movies. Everything about them, and I mean everything. The second one even more so then the first one.
And I thought I know every little hint and symbol after seeing them a thousand times, but I didn't realize the fish designs surrounding Luca Brasi. Thanks!
