My hair is currently down to the middle of my back and my fringe(bangs) has grown out to my chin.
I have very thick hair and a long face with small facial features.
I have never been able to pull off the short look.

I really like this but I am not sure it would suit me.

Sort of the same colour. You saw it after a professional coloured it. Since then I have been doing it myself. It is still dark since my natural colour is getting darker now that it rarely sees the sun and I am getting older.
I was thinking of going a little lighter on top then doing a darker contrast underneath.
