The peppers are chopped, the beans are rinsed and everything's in the pot!

Now comes the waiting.

oh - and I'm making cornbread to go with it. With yummy organic honey.

What are you having for Sunday dinner?

I'm going to bake some pepperoni, parmesan cheese & garlic inside of a loaf of beer bread. It's supposed to taste like pizza bread.

Chili sounds really good, especially since it's a bit cool today.

We're having baked chicken, squash, and salad.

I read; "I'm naked, Chili!", which puts the entire thread in a different subtext.

Anyways, I am glad I do not share a blanket with you tonight, dayum.

I made chili today too! I modified a Rachael Ray recipe, which uses half a bottle of beer. I love that, because I have to drink the other half. drink

I love her recipes but I often have to add seasonings to give it a full flavor. I added Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, cilantro and Montreal Steak Seasoning.

I like hearing about my friends' dinners! It makes me feel connected. lol

I'm sick. I think I'll make soup. I soaked some kidney beans last night. . . have fresh produce from the CSA (carrots fresh out of the ground, OMG drool ). . . will probably do something like a minestrone.
