Why would anyone need a special test to tell that he, Daryl Hannah & Sean Young are androids?  They're either androids or lunatics. Either way let's get them off the streets.
Also, and this is a common movie complaint, I read the book a year ago. I didn't find it confusing, but I found the movie confusing and disappointing. Hater!!!!  I'm sure if I'd watched it a bunch of times in the 80's I would love it now, too.My Legacy

Vangelis' music fits very well I think. Synths always date, but it fits in with the futuristic vibe. The score is also very prominant, which was another 80'sism which adds to its datedness. I guess also its dated because every major science fiction cum action film copied it (though you could argue Mad Max was the first with the post-aplololyptic future thingy but whatever). I can see why you say its overated though. Harrison is fine. Not great, but fine. Ridley Scott's movies are less about acting and dialogue anyway LOL | |

 I've always had a love/hate thing going with Blade Runner.
I think the archetypal stuff going on below the surface is amazing! (I'm doing some thematic comparison work now in theological aesthetics that will include references to the film.) But, honestly, I've never been able to stay awake through an entire viewing.  It's got some amazing moments of payoff, but the boring parts are h.e.l.l.a. boring!Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου
