Question for people who wear glasses, has this ever happened to you?

Let's say you're in your house. Reading, watching TV, tidying up, reaching for a pencil...whatever. Every thing is clear 20/20 or very close to it. You reach up to push your glasses up closer 2 your face only to discover you aren't wearing your glasses. At that moment, everything goes blurry.
This happens to me a few times a month. I'll be thinking I'm wearing my glasses and everything looks clear and normal...but as soon as I realize I don't have them on, everything goes blurry again and I'm left wonder "Why God?!"

Am I the only one? Has this ever happened to you?

horatio

it happens when im reading or looking at the monitor, especially if im wearing only one contact.
its like the one with the contact in looks at stuff far and the one with out sees stuff up close. if i close my one eye without the contact and try and focus on the screen or words my contact eye has to readjust.

when i put the contact in the one i didnt have one in, it has to readjust to seeing far away.

lol No.. I've never experienced that and I wear glasses, but when I feel like it boxed (I don't always wear them) .. if the doctor knew that, I'd be in trouble..

That's what I'm wondering.
All this crazy shit's going through my head...I wonder if you can train yourself to have better vision?

And I am RARELY am without my glasses. I only take them off when I'm sleeping. I will step into the shower with my glasses on. I don't think I can survive w/o them. Maybe its because my mind just isn't use to not having them...so it...processes shit differently...?

I hate it when people come into my store and can't see shit because they left they're glasses home (especially vain ass woman) and they say 'Honey can you read this for me, I left my glasses home) they're usually old farts that nobody is looking at anyway. So if you need glasses, have enough sense to wear them.

that is a typical ruse of illiterate folks actually. Not all of your customers have vision problems, some just use that to pretend they can read, just forgot their glasses, they are embarassed sad

Louise L Hay says that people who cant see long distance are scared of the future and people who cant see close up are scared of the present. I cant see long distance and it's so true that I'm scared of the future, it makes me nervous. But what you say doesnt happen to me, its when I rub my eyes, or get water in them that my vision goes back to normal but it only lasts untill I blink again.
