Portland has looked downright scary at time this year! A 38-point blowout of the Heat is niiiice! woot!

And Utah couldn't get Deron Williams back fast enough. lol

The Blazers are at the Garden tonight. Looking forward to seeing Oden and the boyz.

Portland pulled off a tight win. They had too much depth in the end, as New York is very undermanned right now.

I was at the game. Basically it came down to who has better talent, and Portland is loaded. Roy is a beast, and who is Rudy Fernandez?

Knicks are just treading water until LeBron gets here in 2010.

He played for Spain in the 2008 Summer Games, he's a good ball player

In other Knick news, Marbury's been banished. They don't want him anywhere near the Garden.

It's a toss up between LA and Boston to me, I think this season is a countdown to a rematch between the two.

Celts. They play in an easier conference than the Lakers.

I don't know. The West has fallen off a bit this year. The gap is closing at least.... but as a Laker fan I'll gladly concede the Celtics 70 wins as long as we get the rings.

I agree. The NBA isn't watered-down and filled with expansion teams like it was in the mid-90s. Chi truly benefitted from both of those.

I agree. They didn't pick the schedule and they weren't responsible for all the expansion teams at that time, but even still, it was what it was - watered-down.

But - again - in a watered-down era. I've been over this 72-10 thang many times with die-hard Bulls fans. They don't budge on it and neither will I. lol

But that doesn't mean they were the greatest team of all time. 85 Lakers, 86 Celtics, 72 Lakers, 67 Sixers were better, IMO.

Those teams faced better competition. As Mutha said, the NBA was watered-down in the mid-90s. The rules changes made it easier for wing players(like Jordan & Pippen) to do their thing. The NBA didn't make it easy for Wilt, I'll tell you that.

lol.....anything 2 downgrade their accomplishments. That fact remains, Jordan effectively won 6 titles in a row his last 6 full season with the Bulls.
