Oh I definitely know that (and the Mavs found out last night)....but I'd rather they lose to the "bench" rather than letting Kobe take over the game and go into Terminator mode....

Fauxie

Atlanta 45, Boston 36

4:28 in the 2nd

eek

People really will sit up and take notice if we get this one.

No Josh Smith too.

Notice also how our early season schedule has been largely road games. It's pretty impressive stuff. Not that I'm expecting them to go 83-0 like Ball Don't Lie say the Lakers will ( lol ), but it's a good sign for the season ahead.

Fauxie

Atlanta 51, Boston 51 at the half. A late second quarter rally by the Celtics. Still, a good showing.

Fauxie

Still close between the Hawks and the Celtics in the third (67-66) but the Lakers trounced the Hornets in the first half (51-30). Bynum already has 4 blocks and New Orleans are shooting 28% from the field. eek

Ugh! One point loss on a last second Paul Pierce jumper. Still, 6-1, and that was a fine effort at Boston to push them so close.

They have! So many wins have been on the road too, and we really pushed the Celtics close tonight on their court. Can't be too disappointed really. We've lots of promising young players, with Smith to come back, and Evans and Murray have been contributing off the bench. We look like a very solid team this year.

I can't wait to see the first game between LA and Boston. Are the Lakers ready to get physical?

That's the main issue with the Lakers - SOFT AS CHARMIN! If they can't get physical, then they better hope their depth comes through.

Like Riley said back in the day - "no rebounds, no rings!"

Heat are going to lose, but Wade 2.0 is just ridiculous.

36 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals...

Portland has impressed me with consecutive road wins over Orlando and Miami. Greg Oden needs to get in shape, though!

Utah suffered a terrible game and lost to the previously winless Wizards. headlp

disbelief It was terrible, even without Okur! Still, 6-2 isn't a terrible start to the season. They just need to get their act together!
