Last night; Yao(30 points, 13 boards), Artest(29 points) in Houston's 112-102 win over Dallas. Dayum. Rockets finally have that third scorer - I'm telling ya, these cats are dangerous.

Chill out, it has been only 2 games. If Yao and T-Mac can play more than 40 games together, I might get excited. If Ron Artest plays with a consistent level, I might get worried. But 2 games...I ain't feeling the Rockets yet.

Sorry but magic, bird, and jordan are retired and aren't coming back.

If Portland could shoot the damn ball, they'd be in a lot better shape!

They're up 6 at the half against San Antonio, but they are dominating in every aspect of the game except field goal percentage. mad

Portland just eked it out in the end! They've got a really tough stretch to open the season, so any win is a good win at this point!

Hot rumor - Denver sends Iverson to Detroit for Billups and McDyess. Now why would Dumars make that move?

eek Where'd you hear that? A lot of the buzz on ESPN is the soon to be determined fate of Starbury...

Actually, it would be a good deal for Joe. Billups is on the decline as well as Ivy, but Bills decline is from a lot less than what Ivy still has in the tank. And Dice is just to make the monies work.

AI requires a lot of shots and plays no defense. Not a good fit for Detroit, IMO.

Wow!! I have to agree...I don't see him altering his game significantly to fit in, based on how Billups runs the point for the Pistons...

Actually, he's at that stage in his game/career where he won't trip off deferring shots. He's doing it with Melo now. Plus, his D is decent enough to jump the passing lanes, especially when all the better PGs are in the West anyway.

There's a little snag - McDyess said he will not wear a Nuggets jersey and may opt to retire. Stay tuned.....

Oh snap! I forgot, he balled for them back and day! Maybe there's some bad blood after he blew out his knee. That dude was gonna have a near-Karl malone career had he not fucked up his knee.

but he's still a devastating offensive force, averaging 26.4 points and 7.1 assists per game last season. Both of those numbers would have been team highs for the Pistons.

Like I said, dude is still money, even as his game declines.

"Money" as in "balleristic". Hey, can you blame him for running into THE GREATEST PLAYOFF TEAM EVER - 2001 LAKERS! nod

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Lakers only loss in the playoffs was to that Sixer team, led by AI, Mutumbo & Coach Brown.

And that one win against LA in the Finals was all Iverson, especially in OT when he stepped over Tyron Lue, LOL!!!
