Various reports say the person taken to the hospital was Thomas. According to the New York Daily News, police say the victim consumed "roughly 10 Lunesta sleeping pills." Harrison Police Department Officer Vincent Lanzillotti says an ambulance responded to the 911 call early Friday. He declined to give any details, except to say a person was taken to White Plains Hospital. WCBS Radio reported the call involved "an issue with sleeping pills." Barry Watkins, vice president of communications for Madison Square Garden, told The Journal News newspaper, "Isiah is fine." Late Friday afternoon, a small SUV escorted by a police car pulled into a private road leading to the luxury development in Westchester County where Thomas lives, about 30 miles from midtown Manhattan. Thomas purchased the house on Azalea Circle in Purchase for more than $4 million in 2004, according to the Journal News. Thomas was removed from his coaching duties by the Knicks on April 18 following the team's seventh straight losing season. The Knicks finished last season 23-59. Thomas' troubles extended away from the court last year, as well, including a sexual harassment case with a former team employee and feuds with Knicks players Stephon Marbury and Eddy Curry. It was Thomas' second season coaching the Knicks following three years as the head coach of the Indiana Pacers. He played 13 years for the Detroit Pistons, where he was a 12-time All-Star and the NBA Finals MVP in 1990. He was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2000.

I hope he's ok and gets the help he needs. We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. Maya Angelou

Change the topic title--according to the Detroit Free Press, it wasn't him, but someone at his house:

When the NY Post contacted Isiah at his home, he said it was his daughter who had the problem with sleeping pills. The police report says it was Isian, so who knows what really happened.

Even though the authorities confirm it was Isiah, he still says it was his 17-year-old daughter. Knowing what a phony, punk-ass backstabber Isiah is, I tend to believe the authorities. Typical Zeke move - throw someone else under the bus to take the heat off himself.
