Must be some sort of anti-Tampa Bay Rays conspiracy... It would be sticky if the Red Sox had won, wouldn't it?

What world series? What sport? Is this a sport mainly practised in the US? How many other countries are in the world series? Is Dan a bottom? Tell me how it works!

I'm a Sox fan, but I am glad the Rays won - they deserved it, and it's much better for baseball as a whole. Classy group of young players.
This makes 8 different teams to play in the World Series in the last 4 years, and 12 in the last 7.

It's not better for FOX(not that I care). You know those suits wanted Boston instead of Tampa. Red Sox would have meant higher ratings.

Well? Welllll, it was named the "World Series" back when the only place it was played was in America. Kind of like naming something the "World Cup" before America ever played in it.

Just goes to show what can happen when they expelled the Devil from their name and put their faith in Jesus.

(Held simultaneously with a France/Mexico match.) But still, no one played baseball back in 1903 but Americans.

Other countries qualify by sending their best players to the American teams. In return, the washed-up American players go play in other countries.

You know they were PRAYING for a RedSox/Manny Ramirez matchup (the rest of the Dodgers would've been window dressing).... ....I'm just glad that, as defending champs, the Sox went out like gladiators... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

Red Sox/Cubs would have been a ratings bonanza, too. Lot of history there. I don't see Tampa Bay/Philly pulling in the casual fan.
