Victoria Secret Fashion Show

All I have to say is that I'm never eating again.

I have to say I liked the supermodels of 10-5 years ago...they looked great and they looked like they would be down for a burger every now and then.

Naiomi Campbell has been around for a long time and she's one of the skinniest!

I know it's ridiculous, but after watching it I seriously felt shitty about myself. I felt like I should be thin like them. Imagine how highschool girls feel?

I'd be happy if a size 8 was sexy...right now it's size 0-2. If you're anything over you're FAT.

I personally prefer a size 12 on a woman. Fuck the media...they have no idea what gets me off.

CarrieLee, there was recently a study done which showed that women get immediately depressed when looking through fashion magazines. I didn't watch the show, just watching the commercials bummed me out.

I'd like to fishslap those skinny beotches & then enjoy a blunt and a donut.

Don't believe the type, girl. I didn't watch it because I didn't want to get depressed. Those things should be banned. They serve no purpose but to sell underware and get men all in a sexual frenzy so that they want to buy the stuff for their girlfriends and wives.
You're a beautiful girl. Don't believe in the lie.

Carrie, hon, those women are genetic FREAKS...99 percent of the population of the world doesn't look like that. That means that they are abnormal.
Larry King was interviewing one of the anorexia queens last night and he pointed out that all of the women are super tall and skinny but have huge boobs...that's not natural.

Fashion show? That was an art exhibition. Practically none of the items modeled would be practical as day-to-day lingerie.

You look far from chunky!

I look at it this way, just because you watch a bodybuilding contest doesnt mean you should be depressed if you cant bench press 500 lbs and dont have rippling muscles all over your body.

Likewise with a fashion show. Those women are paid to make themselves look like stylized human figures. Its not meant to be considered natural, its just part of the overall effect.

Look at the way fashion designers depict figures in their illustrations, its far from human.

We see normal people every day, fashion shows are escapism. Not only the clothes beyond normal every day attire, but the people are as well.

I don't understand why so many assume they have to live up to the models on the runway.

People can, for example, appreciate a Byzantine Icon for its beauty, even though noone is really that elongated as the figures are depicted there.

Cut it out!

I thought you were a little too thin in those photos you posted.

Men love curves (most of them anyway). Dont get sucked in by the media. You are very pretty girl. You should be feeling good about yourself.

Toned and curvy bodies are yummmy. drool

Those women have to worry about falling down as they might break a part of the stick that they call a body.

Carrie, looks are skin deep but ugly is to the bone.

You are fine.

I agree. She doesnt look like she starves herself. I think she's just a freak. Women shouldnt measure themselves against such freaks of nature. I mean, how long are those legs?

i don't even try to compare myself to super-models. because i know they are the minority in the world. there are more woman that have curves than not...so it's not like i'm alone. i have to love myself for who i am. i won't let the images of the models bring me down, because i know my self worth. butterfly so cheer up everyone!
