A Monroe on the left side of my mouth.


Last night I was bored and feeling a bit down because I still don't know that many people out here, and so was stuck home on a Friday night. Instead of feeling sorry for myself, I headed downtown to this tattoo and piercing shop on Granville and got myself a brand new piercing. I felt so much better right away.

That's makes a grand total of 17 piercings now. 6 in the right ear, 7 in the left, 2 in the navel, one in the right nostril, and now one on my lip. I used to have my left brow and both nipples done as well. but the brow and left nippled started to reject so I took them out. The right nipple went when I decided my boobies looked silly and lopsided with only one having jewelry.

Sadly, I lack a camera of any kind so I can't show it off.

Kool, bet it looks great and it has made you feel better in yourself so thats good. Ever thought about getting your lady garden done? My mate has a shop where he does all sorts of piercings. One night I visited him and we went out, he preceided to tell me about the piercings he had done on the people we saw out that night! Was quite interesting the stories he had to tell!

The healing time involved in facial or tongue piercings seems to scare me off.

Same thing, but it only heals the inside. The outside still needs the standard piercing care.

I wanna take out my left nipple piercing but it has healed along the barbell into a slightly wider bump shape than my right

That's why you don't make like a dumbass and let just anyone pierce you. Get a trained professional who's in the goods with the Health Inspectors. Make sure they sterilise EVERYTHING and never, ever reuse equipment like gloves. Ask if you're not sure, and don't be afraid to back out of the deal and leave if something doesn't look quite right. I realize this is easier said than done in some places, but if you go with a reputable piercer or tattoo artist and then take care of your piece after the fact, there should never be a serious issue like that.

I got a micodermal piercing on my cheekbone about a month ago. I got bored of it really fast so I had it removed.

And -60$ ? Really? The cheapest I've seen them done for around here is 120$

You used to be able to get piecrings and tattoos around here real cheap a few years ago. But the Health Board cracked down and a bunch of places closed down. Those allowed to stay open jacked up their prices just 'cause they could.

Whatever though. I'd rather shell out the hefty price than get HIV from a dirty piercing needle. It's a small price to pay IMO.
