Since it takes years for the cig paper and filter to degrade, is tossing a cigarette butt out the window or dumping your stinky tray of butts out on the curb when you stop at a light, littering?

About 15 years ago I designed this gadgets that attaches to street posts and is used to collect butts.I never did anything about my design.At the time there were no such things around(in Ireland anyway).About 8 years ago they were introduced and now they're all over my town.

damn, why don't someone get a ticket, its got lip prints and dna if needed. Everything degrades in the landfields except those butts! It takes forever, even with chemicals

When camping, or at a lake or beach, though, I NEVER just drop a butt...I always find a trash can or somethin..

What else am I gonna do with them if I do not toss them, put them in my pocket...no I do not think that would work well.

As for cigarettes, i flick them away without a care in the world.Refuse workers are paid to pick up that crap.Maybe that's a bad attitude, but it keeps them in a job.

Besides i pay damn nearly £5 (in other money) $8 for a pack in England, so like i give a shit!
