The love of your life...within a 25-mile radius How far would you travel for potential love?
I ask this because I know people who freak out when they meet someone they like that live "far away." It's not even far. These people may live about an hour's drive away and there's the "hell no, that's too far" attitude. I always question when people say they've met the love of their lives because...what if the love of your life was in India? How would you really know? I have no problem dating someone who lives 60 miles away or 3,000 miles away, as long as I thought something was there and could afford the travel costs involved. I'm starting to discover not a lot of people are so willing. “Here is the hard truth – if you are looking for a life partner the numbers are not in your favor. If you take the total number of gay men in your city, subtract the number you are not sexually compatible with, minus the ones who have deal-breaking habits, minus the guys who you have nothing in common with, minus the pathological closet cases who play straight while playing around online, minus the ones who just plain annoy you – the universe of potential mates is remarkably limited. This harsh reality is true for gay men in large cities and especially for rural gay men who can’t find a hunk in Podunk.”

Depends. Do I need to factor in the current cost of gas?

Well, the price wouldn't matter, now would it? Under certain circumstances, urgent circumstances, desperate circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer.

I've done the long distance thing before with someone who was the love of my life. I didn't mind it at all. It was hard, but worth it. I don't know if I'd have the energy to do it again. It isn't that I wouldn't. I'd probably just be more likely to look a little closer to home is all.

Look, I'll travel across the globe for just sex.
Not too long ago, I was planning a trip to Bangkok to tap some ass and sample some sweet sweet nappy dugout of an Englishman who , at the time, had not yet been legally married to his Thai wife. Plans sort of fell apart, but I have no regrets. Other than not being smart enough to see if he'd engage in chat sex. So yeah--I'd travel pretty far for love.

Someone I met was a 24 hour travel away. I'd travel that far if the person is very special to me. With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

My partner and I have never had to travel to see one another but we have been apart for 7 months at a time on more than one occassion! He's in the navy and it has made times difficult in the past. 13 years on in our relationship and May next year he comes out of the navy! At last!
