I don't understand why some men do what they think you want and tell you what you want to hear to get you back (after a break up) but once you get back with him its the same old bullshit.

I don't understand why when you put so much energy into trying to make a relationship work, it just doesn't.

I don't understand how selfish people think that they aren't the selfish ones but think you are the selfish one.

I don't understand how you can be there for people, but when its time for them to be there for you, they are nowhere to be found.

Okay I'd prefer a pig or a dog for a pet, but I agree it's very cute cool .

I would never get a dog. [b]Dogs have no pride[/b[. And they have to be walked even when it's zero degrees outside. I'd get a cat before I had a dog as a pet.

I don't get how so many musical greats have had hits with songs whose lyrics have been misogynistic, racist, homophobic, violent.

I mean, I've loved Hendrix's music since my teens, and I love his playing on "Hey Joe." But, dude's solution to his woman's infidelity is to shoot her dead and flee to Mexico.

The older I get, the less cool this song becomes.

I have to grapple with the fact I love Marvin Gaye's music but he dug the young girls and i HATE R Kelly for the same reason.

How someone could shoot a puppy who was just minutes before playing with little kids, or repeatedly punch an injured kangeroo in the face and cack themselves laughing and put it on youtube. Or any kind of animal torture. Just can't get it through my brain how someone could get pleasure out of that. It makes me sick to my stomach.

yeah that too. It's revolting. I mean I can't understand human murder or torture or exploition either, but thats a given, not many people can. Not many people actually do give a damn about animals though so therefore it sickens me more.

I saw the dolphin show at seaworld last week, and I was crying my eyes out, I felt so conflicted about it. One the one hand they were so beautiful and smart and the whole thing was so amazing, but on the other hand I also felt it was not right. neutral

i don't understand why human beings, who have been recording history and events for thousands of years, inevitably repeat mistakes they have documented other people making in the past

Because no matter how carefully events get documented, there will always be people who don't bother reading their history. And for some reason, those are inevitably the folks with the power to prevent monumental fuckups.

I don't understand why some people feel the need to purposely antagonize authority figures daily just because they know they can get away with it and not face a consequence because they put out a lot of work.

I also don't understand why some individuals like to get all up in the mix and jump to conclusions without knowing the TRUTH. Then go tell people that they almost got in a fight when the TRUTH was that no one was even talking to that individual in the first place.

Oh yeah, and why are some people followers who need others to make decisions for them. Ex: A is cool with B. C tells A not to talk to B anymore because they don't like B, so A decides to ignore and talk smack about B because C told them to.

I don't understand why it is socially acceptable and even deemed "cool" to hate (or at least be bad at) math.

I don't understand why belief in the Devil is somehow equated with being dumb. sad

A) Because many, many people are bad at math. More than are good at it, I'm willing to bet.

B) I'm sorry, but how could it be equated with anything else? Blaming the evils of the world on some mystical boogeyman hiding under our beds isn't my idea of rational thinking.

A) I understand that many don't excel in math, but it seems that being good at math is reason for embarrassment!

B) I'm sorry, but it's completely bigoted to link spiritual beliefs with intelligence. I'm a Christian, but I in no means support all of the "acts" that are done in the name of my faith. However, I find it repulsive that someone's intellectual capacity is brought under fire due to his or her beliefs.
