My Auto Accident

His car, with mine in the background.

My car

My car front

Distance shot

I was driving on a main street when this old guy turned left directly in front of me! I couldn't avoid him and slammed into him at about 50mph. I suffered whiplash, strained muscles, lower back pain, shoulder pain and continuous pain to my right arm.

He went away in an ambulance, I was able to walk away from it.

My car is out of commission... I don't know if it's going to be "totaled out" by the insurance company or fixed.

Thank God my kids were not in the car with me...

eek

I'm guessing the other driver was driving in the opposite direction on the same main street and made the left turn? I've been in two accidents, I know how it is. I hope you recover completely and there are no lasting effects. The same goes for the other driver. rose

No, but he's like 65 to 70 years old. He was shaken up pretty badly and kept apologizing to me. I was so pissed though. Why did he do that? Turn in front of three lanes full of cars. He cleared the other two, then I struck him from the third lane. I tried calling the hospital, but they wouldn't give me any information on him. I'm sure he's okay, cuz his wounds were considered minor.

GOD how frightening!!! omg

I'm glad to hear you're OK and I hope you feel better soon...

I can highly recommend a chiropractor for your back injuries, my gal saved me after my wreck. She doesn't use that wrenching/twisting method that we all fear, she used the "Activator" method which uses a small spring-loaded device to make the adjustments to your back. This method in a word... AWESOME!

I'd keep an eye out for that if you "need" a chirpractor.

I'm actually seeing both, a chiro and a medical doctor. I took some muscle relaxers "refalin", and I tried to be at work with these pills in my system... shit, I had to come home. Too drowsy. zzz
