I hope you feel better and get well soon. sick hug But I'd recommend that you go to the doctor and get checked out anyway just to make sure that you don't have something really serious. I got a really serious flu about ten years ago that was so awful that I was literally bedridden for about a week; check that, my coughing was so bad that it was impossible for me to even lay in bed before my lungs filled up with mucous and made it incredibly difficult to breathe, so I spent at least three nights "sleeping" while sitting up on the couch. I eventually got bronchitis from this flu, and it took me about a month to get over that, especially all of the wheezing of my lungs. I don't necessarily recommend narcotics if you can be treated without them, but if your coughing and body aches are really bad, then have your doctor get some codeine for your throat. But only take one teaspoon a day; that's all you need to get relief, and you don't want to get addicted to that stuff.

thanks hug
I DID go to the doc yesterday, he didn't seem too worried, but did want me on antibiotics, because 6 days of fever is not normal for just a virus.
For the pain he was saying just continue with the paracetamol, which is not really strong enough, but luckily since last night I feel up to being up and about again after a week in my bed.

I think I do feel a bit better today, I'm not coughing as much, and it doesn't hurt. How about you?

woot!

You'll be better soon! And you don't want to give Ocean your germs when you go visit her next month, right?

She is off gallivanting around New Zealand at the moment, surely finding me some exotic trans-tasman organisms to infect me with when she gets back mad
