Movies you're looking forward to the rest of 2008 Since Paramount ripped the new Star Trek movie off of the schedule for 2008 a few months ago, my list of movies I'm going to see in '08 has dwindled to at least a couple.
Sep 19 - "Fanboys" (at least I HOPE it's released this year!) Oct 31 - "Zack & Miri Make a Porno"

I honestly don't know about any of the movies coming out the rest of this year. Most of the things I enjoy don't get the big hype. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Still looking forward to 'The Dark Knight' because it's starting this week in Germany.

I get that "it will either be great or completely suck" feeling about it. This gets me thinking about another movie topic... What's the logic behind running a movie trailer/tease a year or more before the release date. I mean, I know they call it a tease for that reason...they want to tease you and build up excitement...but for A YEAR??? Is it because the movie sucks and they gotta cover that by hyping people up? Some very big movies have had trailers come out way in advance.
