I have noticed that some of you on here have bought guitars that look like the ones that P owns or were named after him "The Artist",but do you actually play or do you buy them more for collecting?

I play poorly, but that doesn't stop me from blowing a shit ton of cash on P guitars.

I play some acoustic guitar occasionally, but the banjo is where it's at.

I bought the blonde Telecaster 25 years ago because it was the closest thing I could find to what I thought Prince and Bruce Springsteen were playing.

Yeah, been playing guitar for 23 years, bass for 18.

But my devotion to Fender Stratocasters and Ibanez basses has a lot more to do with the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Marcus Miller than with Prince. And, as much as I loved the sound of the Cloud guitars, I would never dream of hitting the stage with one.

Yes, I actually can play guitar but like every other instrument I picked up on, I just never practiced so I'm not all that great.
