Shame or pride?

Should I be ashamed or was I right?

It is a beautiful Saturday, so me Matt (8yrs. old) and Nia (6yrs.old) head out to the playground. We are enjoying the park when this little 4-5yr.old boy and his granddad show up.

Well, the little boy decides to drop trouser and take a wizz right there in the middle of the playground, next to my daughter, he even started to aim the stream at her, she screamed and ran to me. I immediately when to the old man to try to tell him about the boy. He completely ignored me and folded his arms and just walked away! mad He was Asian, so I guess he didn't speak English, but I saw he would not help me.

So I just let my daughter keep playing... this little boy decides to keep messing with my daughter, and then she comes to me again

"Mommy! That boy is trying to pull down my pants!"
I get angry, but I know I can't tell my son to kick his butt, so I say...

"If he tries it again, kick him in the pants!"

she goes on to play, and sure enough the boy begins tugging on her pants, she lifts up her leg and BAM! She gets him square in his forehead, he falls back off the playground equipment with a thud and FINALLY the old man decides to go to the boy and is yelling in his language at the boy.

What do I do? I yell at her...

"That's right baby! Kick that bum!" woot!

she looked relieved and then I was like boxed I am still proud of her, but I can't help to think I shouldn't have done that.

what would you do if you were me?

hug yeah... I sort of feel like if I was a man at the park that the old man wouldn't of allowed his little boy to disrespect my daughter so.

...i'm with you PL.

I couldn't take my chilren to the playgroud and act like i didn't see any other kids or parents. and what was he paying attention to that he couldn't see his own child being an ass.

I used to have patience with little kids, but sometimes they are sooo rude, and i will cuss them , and tell them to tell their mother...

i know there is a better way to handle the playground but gawd! ! ! !

and iff the mom comes to start junk, i say....hey, your child was being a jerk and when i tried to be an adult with him, he disrespected me, as tho he was another adult, so i popped him. ...lol next time, pay attention to your kid peeing all over my son's shoes, ....dog shyt troll. ...lol

TY rose
I feel like sometimes bad parents encourage their kids to be bad just by ignoring them, as in this case with the pervvy 4 yr. old.

But now a days you can't put your hands or even yell at other people's kids because some of these parents are real nut jobs. People need to just pat attention, I really hate that some people act as if you are a monitor for their kids and they can just forget about their kids, which encourages bad behavior.

She should have popped him sooner... I couldn't, because if I hit any kid in anger, they will leave with a bruise.

Actually lol when he fell he did end up with a scraped elbow. Thank goodness he didn't pee on her, she jumped out the way... peeing on people is assault, and granddaddy can get charges filed against him for that. Pay a pee fine or something.
