Funny how a thread about beautiful people turns up to talk about people behaviourand how it focuses on men & women relationships. As if the beauty factor couldn't be considered without social issues.
BTW why don't your guys express themselves more often about all this? Fauxie said: Ok, here's my serious answer. Other people think I'm better looking than I do. Nobody tells me I'm super handsome or anything, but in general they seem to 'rate' me more positively than I would myself. Instead of mulling over whether that might mean I'm insecure in some way, I tend to just think that it means I'm both quite handsome and extremely humble, a combination that probably equals awesome
Feeling insecure, don't we all? Your flaws are your weakness, words & actions become weapons. Thus the way ti fight this feeling of insecurity is taking control of your body, dieting, working out... what else?... It's more than enough to make you feel confortable when you take control of your whole self whether your beautiful or not. Let's consider you're Penelope Cruz or Brad Pitt or whoever...And then you get ill and you have to take cortisone, then you gain weight until you get all swollen. Or put it another way: you endure a car crash then you end up with a big giant scar all across your face. It might takes you one second to get from beautiful to ugly (or less beautiful if you prefer) . Does that mean you people wouldn't be the same than the usual (even if you don't act the same? Phew!! I don't express myself very clearly!!!) You can't struggle against human factors. It gets even more unsubtle with women. The bitching thing will always exist, whether your beautiful or not; one's will be hated because she get the promotion the other wanted to, another one because she slept with her best friend's hubby... Human factors again! And it doesn't have necessarily something to do with being beautiful... needtogetsleepedit [Edited 8/27/08 16:45pm] Is there any place of refuge one can flee from this insanity | |
