I feel like that 90% of the time, I understand. But I'm sick in the head and would like to see film footage of the crime,so I could yell at the screen like it's a sporting event.

Ya, we don't carry handguns in this country like the US does.

So these people just sat and watched as the victim was decapitated? I didn't read the story

Ok... this is some really disturbing shit right here... disbelief
Reminds me of this one time someone randomly hit a fellow passenger on the head with an axe on the Helsinki metro.
Some people are just fucked up.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I don't think you can stop a person that is THAT crazy and out of control. I don't blame them for running.

i guess I don't either but it still is extremely dishearting to me that there is absolutely no help for any of us ever.

I think in the USA people are chicken shit when it comes to protecting / helping each other. They don't want to interfere. I remember when I was little and shopping with my mom in Mumbai, India. Someone picked my Mom's pocket and she screamed. The crowd in the bazaar beat the pickpocket up and returned her wallet to her. Served that guy right... I am sure he has since changed his profession. lol

So, so sad. That poor young man and his family.

I was just on a Greyhound bus 2 weeks ago that was headed to Canada. That is beyond scary and it's sad that you can't even be in an environment like a Greyhound Bus and sleep for a moment without having to wonder if the person next to you is going to flip out. That's sick as shit and I hope the guy who did this is decapitated too. Some people are just too sick beyond words.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Taking it lightly is exactly what you did. Posts like this make my skin crawl. Where was your all powerful god when all this was happening? Playing favorites? Watching over you and your Greyhound bus? Couldn't he oversee all Greyhound bus schedules and protect them all? Oh right, he couldn't because he doesn't EXIST!!!

Shit like this is disrespectful to the victim and everyone who had to experience this nightmare!

The road to hell, as they say...

Reading back on it, I guess it was harsh. I apologize for that. I just cannot *grasp* when people feel the need to thank god for watching over them. It sounds arrogant to me. And feeling the need to say it in reference to something as awful as this tragedy seems just wrong, good intentions or not.

I'm on guard too and I try not to fall asleep on public transportation but sometimes after a long day, the eyes will get heavy and you might be nodding like mad, especially if the ride is smooth. I've been knocked out on the subway a few times and I was freaked out because that usually doesn't happen to me and I don't know who's around me, especially here in NYC. After this case, I will try to make sure it doesn't happen again.

To be absent from the body is to be present with God. The victim is in a better place now.

I agree with u. Wow. The things people say sometimes here just...bother me. How can someone write a post like that and sleep at night? All she did was send blessings to the victims. sad

Yes, the things people say on here bother me too. Hence my comment. Not everyone believes in "blessings," whatever the hell that is.

And I'm pointing out that, to a secular person like myself, stating that god was watching over you while on the greyhound bus on a thread about a man that was butchered on a greyhound bus is arrogant and quite frankly, mean spirited. Religious folks need to understand that not everyone will holler an 'amen' every time prayer and blessing are thrown out.

I sleep very well at night, thanks for asking. You do not know me so it doesn't affect me what you think. But ask around. I do more (in actions) to help people out in the world than send out blessings.

I have zero problem with that. The rest of the post came across as an attack.
