My people burn incense along with sage and cedar, for religious reasons believing the smoke carries your prayers upward with it. It's burned around the world I love incense.

I burn it all the time, but the ONLY kind that i can burn without getting a headache is NAG CHAMPA.

i like burning incense, as long as it's not the really perfumey, fruity scents. like a lot of other people on this thread, that stuff gives me a headache.
my favorite kind of incense is pine. it has a way of making a place smell cool and clean, especially on a sticky summer day. | |

Try Japanese ones. They're very, very faint and subtle. Maybe something with a hint of a scent from lotus flowers or sakura (cherry blossom)...they've very relaxing. | |
