A tie. In my book a tie is as bad as a loss. disbelief The good news is that the QB situation has been solved.

My condolences on your Steelers. I kinda hoped Kordell would
rise to the occasion, but didn't. At least they got a winning
streak in before today's setback.

Yeah, because I don't think they'd be on that streak with him. I mean, they've done it before with him, but he's so Jekle & Hyde-ish that I wouldn't trust him either if I were the coach. The offensive coordinator can't be blamed anymore, that part of their team has been stable for at least the last year and a half. Kordell's strength is being a receiver.

I think Kordell peaked when he was slash and the QB in their
Super Bowl year. Unless the coach was willing to go back to
that style of offense, Kordell unfortunately just won't excel.
It's a good thing the Steelers got Tommy Maddox.

more football sacrilege. evillol

I like you,i like the way you think wink

Thank you kind sir. T.O. running to the star twice in Dallas was one of the funniest moments in Niner history to me.
I never saw anything make the Dallas fans just hush so
quickly. It was beautiful. lol
49ers need to beat them this year.they got there Behinds ripped there last year.T.O. should sign a Football&Flip it too Jerry Jones that says don't play Emmitt like that?

the ravens won disspite ed reed's stupidity. it's good that the steeler/falcon game ended in a tie, that gives the ravens a chance to get their act together for the playoffs.

right now, i think it will be the 49ers in the end for the nfc.

the afc is too tight to call.

Yeah, I said it...

So Shannahan is 12-2 versus the Radiers since he took over the Broncos & the Broncos are playing at home...

Got to support my team no matter how bad it looks

The Vikings continue to struggle...but at least my man got in yesterday and provided a spark that Culpepper has failed to give the Vikes...I say start BOUMAN this week! (But since Duante is the future of the organization...rolleyes..I doubt that will happen) All he does is make plays...look at the games he played in last year (NFL Player of the Week versus Tennessee), comebacks that fell short versus Pittsburgh and Detroit...and yesterday versus the G-men. Although the comebacks fell short...he at least gave the team a much needed boost. Let's see what happens with the Green/Gold machine from Green Bay cheese this weekend at the Dome. (By the way...I think the NFC Championship will be going through Lambeau Field) Go Vikes!
We need 2 come 2gether, come 2gether as ONE

Green Bay is the best in the league. They are not as dominant in some areas (rush D and rush O, kick and punt returns) as some other teams, BUT, they are overall the most talented and full of heart.

Keep in mind the first half of the season was, for the most part, played with 2nd and 3rd string defenses.

Denver looks great in the AFC.

They didn't look so great last night; further proving my point that there are no great teams in the AFC. The best record anyone has in the conference is 6-3.

I expected the Eagles to make a big statement Sunday.

The statement they made was not at all the 1 I expected.

They had played inconsistently (at best) the previous 2 games before the home debacle against the Colts. I see no logical explanation for the way the Eagles played against an inferior Colts team. They lacked emotion & hustle. Did the Eagles really believe that the Colts would just bend over & say "here, take it"?

Is the Eagle's motto this season:

"we're gonna do it the hard way!"
???

The bottom has fallen out of the wagon. Every game now is a "must-win" game for the Eagles. With all the talent we have on offense & defense, there is absolutely NNO WAY the Eagles should lose to teams with worse records (Jax, Tenn & Indy)..

Normally I'd be doing cartwheels knowing that the no-account Arizona Desert Buzzards are coming to town, but the Eagles might play down to the Cards' level too.

Then we'd really be in trouble.

This better be THE wake-up call the Eagles pay heed to & respond to; it's time to play like the Conference champs they were picked by most to be
or else
we'll be on the outside looking in.
