How is your NFL team doing? Part 3 The other NFL thread is getting so large that I thought I would start another one.
My Packers are 8-1 and looking great. Philadelphia looked awful and the Saints got lucky to win. Right now it's looking like the Pack's biggest competition may be the 49'ers. In the AFC it appears that there aren't any great teams. So how is your team doing? . [This message was edited Sun Nov 10 17:58:01 PST 2002 by lovemachine]

I always forget about Tampa Bay. If they just had some offense they would be tough for the Pack to beat. I just don't think they can win in Green Bay in January being as they have never won in the cold.

MY team, the Cowboys, were off this week...
probably best that way. My second team, the hometown Lions, were thoroughly spanked by Favre & co.. My pick for the SB...i'll stick with philly. 49ers and Tampa will crack in the Green Bay weather. Eagles play in harsh conditions also, so that shouldn't be a factor for them. Plus, gotta love their defense. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

A tie. In my book a tie is as bad as a loss. The good news is that the QB situation has been solved. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.

49ers are looking good. Can't wait to knock Green Bay on their
collective cheeseheads. We go to Dallas later in the year... maybe T.O. will have a special sharpie for the 'Star to commit more football sacrilege.

I like you,i like the way you think Thank you kind sir. T.O. running to the star twice in Dallas was one of the funniest moments in Niner history to me. I never saw anything make the Dallas fans just hush so quickly. It was beautiful.

My condolences on your Steelers. I kinda hoped Kordell would rise to the occasion, but didn't. At least they got a winning streak in before today's setback.

Yeah, because I don't think they'd be on that streak with him. I mean, they've done it before with him, but he's so Jekle & Hyde-ish that I wouldn't trust him either if I were the coach. The offensive coordinator can't be blamed anymore, that part of their team has been stable for at least the last year and a half. Kordell's strength is being a receiver.
