Broad statement alert!)...women dress sexy,get their hair and nails did and generally throw their mack down (referred to hereafter as "fluff" ) to attract a mate....as do WE men....once this is accomplished, what is the point in continuing with ALL of the fluff...? It appears as though you are still looking for the same feedback and are STILL searching for a mate.... Now we still like you to stay in shape, hair and nails still done...but why dress so provacatively still? I believe the reason us men get touchy about this is because we know you are no longer doing it JUST for us and we don't like it... Doesn't that say more about how men view women, though? As well as how men view themselves?...Men either think all women WANT us to look at them ("they want to be objectified!"), or men are so self-centered that we think all decisions that women make revolve around our approval and pleasure, and not their own lol..."She dresses that way because she wants ME to like how she looks"...instead of "She dresses that way because SHE likes how she looks". Women DO want us men to like how they look, but I sincerely doubt it's the end-all and be-all behind their decision making and choices. I think it centers more around how they view themselves and what best fits their personality, what makes them feel comfortable and confident, etc. They form their own independent style without having to consult anyone about it, at least the women I've gotten to know. | |
