sometimes my face feels REALLY sore and dry, and within an hour if I don't put anything on it, it gets really oily. I can't use soap, and even with just water my skin feels horrible and tight sad

Try the active moist!

To go back to the other post, I thought you were implying that if you removed the oil from your skin it would just produce more...when the main thing is to just keep it hydrated.

We don't have any samples left right now but if we get some I'll let you know and I'll mail them to you!

That would be great! eek
Thanks a lot nod
my face is getting that sore feeling now bawl

Not 100% true. Oil attracts oil therefore it draws it out better ***when using the correct products***. I never knew this before either. Dermalogica makes a precleanse that is oil based and it's great to use as a first cleanse, and then follow with the anti-bac products for acne.

I guess it depends with each product...

I always thought if you keep scrubbing off your oil, your skin just overcompensates by making MORE oil - is that right? confuse

I have combination skin, oily T-zone and break out at ovulation and menstruation, I have one good skin week exactly 7 days after my period ends, and then it all starts again pout

lol This is exactly me as well. It's also the week when I am the thinnest, (or at least feel that way) so it's a good week all around I suppose, but it's just so short-lived. sad

Yes, we'll have one week when we can go out together and look amazing, and then after that we'll have to hermit it up again until the next metamorphosis.biggrin

Fauxie

Quick wash with dettol soap when I have my morning shower.

Usually use this Boots anti-bacterial gel stuff later in the day when I've been out and about amongst the grime of Bangkok.

Also, I wash my face in hot loose oolong or green tea once every week or so.

Don't use much moisturizer, just the occasional bit of Nivea day cream or Shiseido moisturizers, toners, balancers etc. my wife has.

Hot face mask every few weeks too.

I'm happy with the anti-aging part of it, but lately I'm thinking I don't like my skin as much as I used to... freckels and redness and the like. I'm thinking of trying Mary Kay again.

I used to use mary kay in my late teens to mid 20s

I have always had freckles and that rudey (sp?) type skin redness.
