I'm gonna sound like a total girly girl here but the Neutrogena Wave is awesome!!! It cleans really deep and makes my skin feels softer.

I use this...
but I'm wondering if I should try that body shop tea tree oil wash. Does it dry the skin out or does it leave it just feeling nice and clean?

It can be a little drying for me, specifically in the winter months. If you have dry skin, this product will not be for you. My skin feels nice and clean after I use it during the warmer months, like all the oil has been stripped off my face. They have a facial moisturizer that leaves a matte finish to your skin. I like that a lot since I can't really use regular moisturizers during the summer without looking like a grease ball. Shake it til ya make it

Sounds like this could be for me - I have real problems with moisturisers also - nightmare in summer!

JustErin said: bad bad bad bad bad!!!!! You should never use soap on your face, but I guess if you do then you're using the gentlest one. And Ponds??? Try dermalogica, it's expensive but sooo worth it. Even if you don't have skin problems because it's more preventative than corrective....and women get the shaft (again) with their skin during and after menopause.

I have super clean skin - no problems at all - have had it that way all my life using soap and water. I see no point in changing to anything else now. And ponds works great for me. I don't need corrective stuff, and other than spf, I don't believe that the crap that most people slather on their faces prevents a single thing when it comes to aging and/or changes in your body chemistry. I don't even wash my face at night before bed.

Moderator | And if I'm going to be outside for more than an hour But make that one spf 60 + In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

i use several products throughout the week and/or day...
i always start the day with a facial scrub/cleanser from Remedie i use prescriptives line preventer and their all you need face lotion (for oily skin) with spf 15 at night i use a mild facial cleanser from la mer and then i follow up with la mer's face and eye creams before bed. I'm currently doing the rounds with different products to see what works for me. I've always had fairly bad skin, but it's amplified by the fact that I don't have a spleen anymore to filter a lot of crap out of my system. Pretty much every bug I get or toxin I put into my shows up as acne. And the rest of it tends to be infected hairs. I know this, because there are times when I can actually feel it happening. UGH.
One of the things I was using to combat a general redness or ruddiness to my complexion was this: Problem is, it contains SPF and while it seemed to work for awhile, I think the SPF in it has started causing breakouts on my neck since I'm sweating a lot more during the summer. Oh well. On to something else.

I look at your skin and think it's totally perfect and probably would be even if you DIDN'T use expensive skin care products
