Is The Cable TV Channel "Lifetime" Serious?

They are showing Christmas movies on July 4th. disbelief Who the hell wants to watch Christmas movies in July? Isn't it bad enough that they already push the Christmas season upon us, seemingly earlier and earlier each year? lol lol

Edited to say, yes I have heard of Christmas in July, but I don't like to think about winter weather when it's nice and summery outside.

Havent you heard of xmas in July?

Some stores have major xmas related sales in July. Its just a reminder that 1/2 of the year is gone, and xmas is very very close!!!

I dont like watching lifetime. It gives women bad ideas sometimes.
Say it's just a dream...
U open up ur eyes and come 2 realize

Yes, I have heard of Christmas in July, but I NEVER celebrate it, or even think about it. I love summer, and I don't like to think about the wintery Christmas weather we get where I live. Bah, humbug! lol

I often wonder if the Lifetime channel is serious. They say that they are "television for women" but I feel like they don't really deliver. confused My father really like those Lifetime Original Movies they like to show.

The only thing I like about Christmas anymore, honestly, is watching my little nephews and niece open their presents. And the delicious Christmas dinner that my mom makes. Last Christmas, my mom was pretty sick, so Christmas was not the same as it usually is.

last year i told my kids not to expect anything for xmas.

they will get one expensive gift within the year.....

my daughter got a laptop and my son will get the new iphone that will be out july 11th.

that i think is enough. xmas is not about gifts, its about family and giving thanks to what has been given to us.

Agreed, that is the true meaning of Christmas, and not what or how many gifts we get.
