I was in the mood for peach ice cream, so I went to the store and found Ben & Jerry's Willie Nelson Country Peach Cobbler ice cream.

GREAT GOOGLE-Y MOOGLE-Y!!!!



The "cobbler" is actually CRUNCHY....in that "fresh baked out of the oven" way.

I'm having to MAKE myself not finish the pint tonight!

you should know you can't even SAY "cobbler" near me without me suddenly going into a crave fit.

i'm not picky about ice cream during summer, other than i like trying weird new flavors. the last i tried was banana peanut butter from target. it was really good, though not the revelatory experience i was looking for. they needed to punch it up a bit. but it WAS banana and peanut butter, so it's not like i was complainin'.

Well, like I said, I was looking for peach ice cream

I had to try it! It is SO delicious!!!

my gosh... i said this in the other food thread.. im blaming orgers if i gain weight (from me buying the stuff) .. my hips are spreading from just reading this..

that sounds yumazing!

i actually like Edy's Fruit Bars better than ice cream. they are perfect in the summer.

However, tomorrow for 4th of July I'll be serving peach cobbler AND Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla ice cream or as I like to call it "heaven in a bowl."

I almost got that Peach Cobbler ice cream the other day, but put it back when I saw this:

OMG Joy. that ice cream sounds awesome! I don't eat ice cream much anymore, but my favorite is Cookies and Cream.

Honestly, I can't say enough about the ice cream.

It's so good even Willie's picture is NO deterent at all.

What AMAZES me is how much it's like peach cobbler. Seriously, the only thing missing is it being hot out of the oven.

Now Willie Wonka, might be able to work warmth into ice cream, but Ben & Jerry haven't figured it out.

That's okay though...the peach cobbler they've whipped up is DE-vine!

WTF?! Man....that sounds so good....but it's not sold in stores here. I've seen other Reserve flavors by HD but not that one. I'm hooked on their green tea though. Green tea is my favorite. They're gonna discontinue their version next month.....supposedly. I hope not. Hopefully many people will argue for them to keep it as a permanent flavor.
