RANT! My ex is a pain in the A**!!! It's a long story, but I'm going up to NJ (he has the boys with him at the moment) this weekend to see them and to help him out as he has a wedding he wants to go to. I wanted to take the train to save on gas and just the hassle of having to drive through Washington DC. He also wanted to take the train to where he was going which means he would be leaving his car there. I asked if I took the train could I use his car provided that I paid for all of my gas. I know we're divorced, but I'm trying to be friendly with him for the sake of the boys. I'm trying to be as flexible as possible with him.
He said he didn't want me using his car.

What do mean by paintjob? Yes. Of course I have to keep the boys busy. Conner is on a swim team and I am taking him to his swim meet. I'm sure we'll do other things and go other places throughout the weekend. I'll just drive there myself. Don't have a choice. | |

Another thing....
Since I knew he'd be gone for the weekend I asked if I could just stay at his house with the kids. The boys already have all of their stuff there. It seems crazy that I would keep them in a hotel all weekend when their house is right there. If anyone has ever tried to keep 2 little boys in a hotel room you know the insanity of that idea.
He didn't seem like he really wanted to do it, but he finally said it was ok as long as I stayed out of his bedroom and didn't answer his home phone.
Someone has a girlfriend that he doesn't want me to know about!
So, when he e-mailed me with his "conditions" I replied and asked him if he was taking her to the wedding he's going to.  | |

Obviously he's feeling as though he's been wronged by you...your obvious happiness must be a gigantic thorn in his side and bruise to his ego....maybe you should show up walking funny...and when he asks what happened...just say you've been having so much GOOD sex lately...

He's pretty tall. You think you can take him? And about him feeling wronged...yes. I made mistakes. No doubt. But, he did too. He seems to not want to accept that those had a part in the marriage breaking down. He filed for divorce not me. [Edited 7/8/08 15:06pm] | |

Just to balance though... When I divorced my ex asked for her things... I said she could collect them no problem, but I wouldn't be about... I arranged for her to pick up the key. ... I got back the house was cleared my personal effects also.. me being too trusting   I have a firm grip on reality...Maybe just not this reality   | |
