No, see he was not a troll, and to call him that is just plain insulting.
There are reasons why he behaved the way he did, he may not have been nice, but he was honest. He was brutal to some, and yes to be fair, he was relentless and a beast to some that crossed swords with him.

Muthafunka was no troll. He was hated. He was too "black" and his views simply just were not tolerated here. He was also extremely kind, funny and protective.
If you were caught in the "cross fire" I am sorry, but what does it say about you that you can't let it go now that he is gone?

I have no idea what that second paragraph is all about. All I know is that every thread in which I saw him post was littered with childish rants and self-aggrandizement. He never ever could concede a good point and would continually resort to insults without reason. That is the definition of an internet troll, whether he intended to be one or not. And may I ask what it does say about me that he is gone?

That you are still angry it seems, when did this happen?

I believe he had good reason, the sports threads were different. But you exaggerate, he would check himself on occasion. It was rare but he did it.

I'm not angry- I just think he behaved like an Internet troll on the various basketball threads in GD. He continually insinuated that I didn't know basketball (and that a few others didn't either) for having a different opinion. Check the Playoff thread in which he attacked Fauxie for absolutely no reason.

I agree. I wish him well in his personal life, if that is the reason that he is away. But he really did not know how to play nicely with others in an internet setting. I've never seen such a persistent Internet troll in my life.

No, see he was not a troll, and to call him that is just plain insulting.

Someone like Mach calls it how she sees it but goes about it in a very different way and as such has the respect and admiration of a great many people on this site. Being honest and true to your beliefs is great, but throw in compassion, empathy, open-mindedness, humility and the like and you've got it sorted. Otherwise there's the danger of just coming across as aggressive and antagonistic and your opinions don't get their due consideration by others.

There's a way to state your case with class. Muthafunka chose not to in the threads I have encountered.

OK Moonbeam, I read that thread, and can I say that the thread was the funniest read! OMG! It was so funny, but I saw mostly a bunch of men ragging eachother, many straight up calling Mutha immature, and holding their ground. I don't see any trolling, stubbornness maybe, lots of it, but it all seems in good fun.

Maybe Graycap the threadstarter, who was disagreeing with Mutha and UptownNY are better qualified to answer this. You guys are so witty and crazy as hell. falloff

Oh, it definitely was humorous! It could have made for a good debate, though, if MuthaFunka didn't start insulting everyone! It's water under the bridge now, and again, I wish him well. I hope that if he comes back, he treats people with a little more respect- that's all!

What's doubtful- him coming back, or him being more respectful when he does? lol

By the way, what was the "he was too black" comment about? Is there something I've missed?

I just reread the whole damn thread too. lol

It was embarrassing, honestly. He was like an immovable brick wall. I can almost admire his single-mindedness, his stubborness, but really the way he would highlight certain things people said and deliberately ignore others was just painful to revisit. A bit like the way I can never watch that type of teen comedy where the protagonist gets up to no good and you know they'll inevitably get caught. I get embarrassed for them and I feel the same following MF's posts. lol

Someone in that situation can always say 'it's your problem', and 'don't take it so seriously' but he was a master wind-up merchant and it's not just about being stubborn and sticking to your guns when you're saying 'Game over' or 'Period' or 'Go back and study up on the game, dawg'. If you don't know that's antagonistic then it's ignorance and possibly a lack of social skills. If you do then it's very mischievous. It would seem almost certainly to be the latter. The guy simply liked to see people get pissed off (I think it was his 'and 1' bonus to making his point), which I find extremely strange, but it takes all sorts.

My best friend is actually very similar in his stubborness and it's hella frustrating! falloff

I'm doubtful he'd change his ways. I just can't see it. The thing is, and I can't help this, but if he came back there's no way I could take him seriously since after reading that thread, and with the break, if he started saying 'dawg' and all that it'd feel more like self-parody or something. lol Maybe it was always a bit of that. If he returned though, there's no way I could stop myself from mirroring his patter. In retrospect it's so absurd it's hilarious but at the time it was irritating as hell. lol

*You warned me to watch myself over a random comment to a random individual...
*You reported an orger for posting a wanted pic to me without provocation.( Though you apologized for both and they are excepted, none the less it was an assumption.)
* You assumed Ian (Moonbeam) was angry when anyone who has spent an ounce of time on the org in the last 7 years knows the gentlemen would be of no such action towards anyone.

I digress...

So what does that mean? Was I trying to be insulting to Moonbeam no, would I say anything to him if Mutha could speak for himself, no. Am I dishonest... HELL FUCKS NO. Am I naive and therefore have no say when someone attacks my friend?

You want me to shut up too? Yes I reported Mdiver, because I thought he was dissing and making fun of Mutha again. It was with provocation, I was wrong, told the mod, Mdiver and you and I apologized. So what?
That shit looked suspicious, maybe not to you but it did to me, and yes I went back and made things right. I even apologized to you and anyone else I thought I offended. So where are you going with this? What's that got to do with this?

Is Mdiver your buddy? Why are you busting in here starting shit?

Do not attack me because Mutha was cool with me here. I am not attacking you but you seem very adamant in attacking me. when will it stop? Did you hate Mutha so much that you have to disrespect every one that liked him?

Who is Ian? I did not disrespect anyone here or anywhere else, so back the fuck up off me. Allow me to miss my friend in peace, I do not come here to insult people but it is clear that there is an agenda against me now.... because I call Mutha my friend.

You don't want any part in this crazy shit.... my goodness, now I hate Moonbeam and conspiring against people. Good Lord!

And yes Muse took personal shit in orgnote and made it public, but that's OK.
If that's what you need to try to state your false case so be it. I have nothing to hide. But Muse you won't see me do that to you. I have only one face.
