Well, apparently the knee really needs to rest--and he's schedule for more surgery. He has announced that he will *not* be playing for the rest of the year. His doctor told him ahead of time that he needed to rest for weeks and Tiger said no way--he was preparing to win the U.S. Open. Here's hoping for a speedy recovery.
