Mp3 cutters?

So I'm making play lists for the Prince party me and my buddy are having. I'm going to use my ipod so I don't have to worry about dj'ing the thing but some of the songs need to be cut down at the end...there's too much space. Is there an easy way to cut the songs down? Are there mp3 cutters out there? I have garage band on my computer but fuck me if I know how to use that shit. I need something easy, like me.

Any suggestions out there? I know the org is full of smart wonderful people so I thought I'd start here.

Thanks in advance!

I have used a program called WavePad. U can download for a free for a 30-day trial, otherwise it's about $40. I don't know how much of a quality program it is, but when I needed to cut my songs to make ringtones, it did the job. Just Google it and I'm sure you'll find it. hope that helps biggrin

If you want to automatically remove silent parts at the start and end of tracks, mptrim is your program.
Also wavtrim for audiophiles lol

I use cooleditpro. It makes it simple to cut it wherever you want and fade it out. Also easy to bump levels up.

Free?

I could zip it and send you a yousendit link. It's a full on music editing program, so I don't know if you are looking for something a little easier to use.
