I'm rarely freaked out by movies but this one got me for a sec.

The solution to the mystery is indeed shocking.

yeah, it´s more drama than horror in the end, I liked it but
the final part is a bit overlong.

I guess I am very empathetic as a mother, putting myself in Laura's place at that moment when she figures it all out, I bawled my eyes out in the cinema, and I don't mean a couple of tears spilling out, I mean the whole snotty grimace and howling sad

In the middle of the night I burst into tears replaying the whole scene when Laura falls backwards into the bath, with the knowledge I had about the reality of it.

bawl

hug It is indeed a very sad film. (SPOILER) Especially due to the fact that the mother indirectly caused her son's disappearance. sad

which has almost got to be the worst thing I can possibly think of, to be unwittingly responsible. I think back over that poor child's last 20 minutes (who knows how long he lay there after he fell cry ) he thought his mum hated him cry :cry cry

it's so totally removed from reality I can't empathise. Although the baby crying made us kind of feel for him.

It's pretty scary - the tree tries to eat a little boy! Maybe it's Otik senior!
