I've been getting one for lunch every day, and they are sooooo good. A nice, big, soft round piece of thin bread, with tuna, cheese, lettuce and onions. Subway's tuna is very good, because they use just the right amount of mayonaise (not too little, not too much). I love the nice softness of the bread when you bite into it. Yum!

Maybe I'll try this, I'm getting tired of the meatball subs I get almost everyday!

Oh, God, I love their tuna.

But I don't ever eat it because of the mercury content...(freaks me out.) I had a tuna sandwich for the first time in over a year last week.

Great American Hero is a local chain. They did have about 4 or 5 restaurants, but ended up closing them all except for the original location.

I think a lot of the reason they closed was because of the economy. When the economy was booming in the 90s, they were everywhere. When Bush took office, you started to see them closing.

Subways are all over the place here...I love it!

I love the tuna sub too, but my favorite is probably the veggie sub or the veggie patty sub

the seafood salad one isn't bad either

The guys who work at the one I go to don't even ask what I want on it anymore

love the subway tuna. only even tried it because the cabbage subway in the town next door to where i'm staying the last six months is always out of meatballs. (and bread half the time, but that's a different problem. ). it's actually more filling than the meatball sub, or it at least keeps me from feeling hungry for a much longer time.
