Not even close. This year actually emotionally started on November 5th of last year , and the journey gets stranger and stranger for me. Yes, expected to lose a bit more weight by now, and further my career a bit quicker, and to remain celibate at least until my next Birthday (November 25th). I wanted a spiritual rebirth of sorts, and in some ways I'm actually experiencing that. Yeah yeah, everybody seems to think I assume I'm the only one who's been through this , but I'm know I'm not--I'm the only one that matters though.

I believe it pretty strongly. Something really major would have to come along to stop me from believing it. But to me it doesn't exclude other things going on at the same time. I can accept more than one reason for things changing or happening. Or maybe I just don't care and can't be arsed to pick one. Probably a little bit of both, really.

Sure. I think so. Of course I don't know for sure. I was raised Catholic, then spent a lot of years being agnostic. Then all-out atheist before drifting back to agnosticism. I finally realized that I probably do believe in a creator, or if not that, then at least some higher being or consciousness or force. My whole belief system is basically that it doesn't really matter to me one way or the other if there is such a force or being. All I can do is be the best me I know how to be and if there's some reward or point to it in the end, then great. If not, it doesn't hurt being the best you can be to yourself and to others that you can anyway. If there's "somebody" up there, I don't see how getting down on my knees to connect with it really matters in the end (although I occasionally do for guidance, thanks or selfish begging). I guess I just don't feel as if it makes one bit of difference to how I know that I should and need to live.

Not really. But much more so than I have been in many years, and doing it on my own for a change.

I swing back and forth between the two quite a bit anymore. Or am sometimes feeling them both at the same time regarding different issues or events, etc.

7 years ago, I was really worried about needing to fall in love. In the meantime, it's happened. Now? I'm trying to figure out how to not be in love and let some things go and let them run their natural course, be it getting to place where I could fall in love again (with the same person or someone else) or just being content with being alone until the time is right for either of those things or nothing at all. I'd actually like to be where I was exactly 6 years ago today. Not looking and then it finding me.

Friend: hmmm, probably about 30 years older than me and 12 years younger. Lover: LOL that's the LEAST of the things I haven't been keeping track of on that front. Siblings: 2 and 5 years younger.

I'm actually aging pretty well, I guess. I definitely look better than I did a year or two ago. Except the acne scars are sort of setting in, but they're managable and sometimes even make me a little rugged.

I'd rather we as a society acheive something that I want or believe in that actually makes some degree of sense instead of just arguing the same rhetoric about our pipe dreams.
