I guess I am very empathetic as a mother, putting myself in Laura's place at that moment when she figures it all out, I bawled my eyes out in the cinema, and I don't mean a couple of tears spilling out, I mean the whole snotty grimace and howling In the middle of the night I burst into tears replaying the whole scene when Laura falls backwards into the bath, with the knowledge I had about the reality of it. | |
