Who does a guy have to blow around here to see Cassandra's frickin' Dream?! This is the first Woody Allen film that has not had a theatrical release here (and, judging by what I've read on the Net, it didn't play in many U.S. cities, either).
So, it's released today on DVD and I go to my neighbourhood, indie, hipster video rental place and the guy tells me, "Our distributor really dropped the ball on that one - they're telling us now it should be here on Thursday". So, I go to the Blockbuster around the corner and the dude there's never heard of it and it's not even in their frickin' database!

All I know is that video stores usually carry 10,000,000 of the worst movies and 1 of the good ones.

I didn´t see Cassandra´s Dream when it was released here
in Spain because the bad reviews really put me off, but I am really looking forward to his latest, Vicky Cristina Barcelona, which premiered at Cannes a couple weeks ago and surprising, got very good reviews and has been called a true return to form  | |
