Target is too classy for Amsterdam. My parents' place is actually a few miles north of Amsterdam in Hope, NY which is literally nothing. It's a route going along the Sacandaga river with some houses here and there. We have no phone service, no TV reception and can barely get radio stations. When the bomb drops in NYC, I'm heading up there.

We used to have a land line, but my parents got rid of it. Now if we have to use the phone we drive a few miles to the nearest town and wait for a signal. I actually look forward to going up there. I get a lot of reading done.
