Rush has moved their Houston concert from Sunday to Saturday, all because of the dogass New Orleans Hornets and their one-and-done playoff series.

WTF?!? The Rockets have a game Saturday night and I have tickets to THAT game, as wells as tickets to Rush. How the FUCK am I supposed to be at a Rockets game downtown, and a Rush concert in the Woodlands, at the same time?!?

All I know is: (1) TicketBastard will be refunding me $219.85 for the Rush tickets that I now cannot use; (2) Rush is a band of spineless pussies for making 15,000 Houstonians change their plans; and (3) there is now one more reason to despise the dogass New Orleans Hornets.

And why did I sit through 2 1/2 hours of bagpipe music, you ask? Because I am a helluva friend, that's why.

Getti Lee (spelling?) has the most grating voice in the world. I appreciate Rush for their skill I guess, but his voice is like listening to somebody run their fingernails down a chalkboard.

And honestly, I would have enjoyed seeing Rush again. I saw them in 1978, as part of a triple-threat tour: Blue Oyster Cult; Rush; and Starz.

Starz fucking ROCKED. Many of the successful rock bands of the '70's and '80's credited Starz with mucho inspiration. If you like straightforward, blistering guitar rock, check out their first two albums, "Starz" and "Violation".
