sammi and Ace could run circles around me representing the Greater Toronto Area. So here are pics directly in and around my school (I didn't shoot any of these)...
My seminary From the rear, with ivy in autumn An interior corridor One view of our chapel Our library The Royal Ontario Museum, across the street from my school to the west, on the opening night of its new Michael Chin Crystal wing Toronto's Queen's Park, across the street to the south, in winter The debate room in our nearby student centre The Crucified Woman, a bronze sculpture in my school's courtyard A closeup of the Crucified Woman One of our student lounges. In a rare org appearance, that's me WAAAAY in the distance... mulling over what revenge awaits my friend, who violated me with a photo. [Edited 5/21/08 9:04am] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I need to learn not to include places like Hamilton as part of the GTA. When your city is as anemic as Cleveland, it becomes a survival tactic to somehow claim everything within a 24-hour driving range. [Edited 5/20/08 21:16pm] Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

A view I found online of our famous "Nautical Mile", a stretch of street & canal that used to be lined with fish markets and now has some of the best seafood restaurants on Long Island. I live on the opposite side of the canal (not waterfront) but close enough that we hear music (and sometimes conversations!) from the bars in the summer. We walk to the strip on hot days to get Italian Ices from Ralph's (). By St. Boogar and all the saints at the backside door of Purgatory! | |

I didn't take any of these, but this is where I'm currently living. I suppose I'm lucky, though honestly I'm sick of the damn place. And yeah, it really does look like this on a daily basis:
Spouting Horn (at Poipu): Kiluea Lighthouse (near a beach I go to every weekend): A monk seal on the actual beach I go to every weekend. I see them there all the time: Waimea Canyon (up from and behind my house): The Napali Coast: Actually saw this on a boat trip once. And I can often see it out in the distant ocean from where I currently live (whales are now gone this time of the year, though): Wailua Falls (about 3 minutes from one of the locations I'll be working out of starting next week): Hanalei Bay (North Shore): Poli Hali: My little town (Kekaha): The sunset from where I live (sometimes with the island of Niihau in the distance): You hate me, don't you!
