With Memorial Day just around the corner..and that's when summer seems to start for most of us in the States. Tell me what kind of plans do you have for the summer? Are you going on a trip, or just hanging at home watching the grass grow?

Myself, I am taking a trip up North, Nebraska and Colorado, to visit family and show off my new grandbaby!! I am looking forward to having Seyhan meet the Great Grandmother she is named after.

summer started april 30th for me
not weather wise..at all, but that marked the official end of my 3rd university calendar year...
one more year left

so this summer:

- beach, every chance i get
- moving to an apartment for my last year of school
- painting that apartment
- moving my organ to my room to start my music stuff up again
- art, i want to be able to make lots of art
- work my ass off


i'm currently in summer school
and it sucks major bum but i should be done july 11th

i'd like to travel, but i don't know really know if that'll go through as i had previously planned...


that's about it.

oh and lose 40 more pounds.

Meeting Miguel, watching London and our home town being invaded by Imago. Hopefully surviving that whole ordeal.

Also I plan to have a new addition to our family... it will have four legs and fur.

Hopefully getting to see more of England like the coast and the beautiful lake district.

Spending time with my husband and enjoying spending our first summer living together. Continuing to be thankful that we are finally under the same roof, making new memories.

On a serious note, I'll be visiting the UK. I went last year but I spent most of that time chaperoning my mum. That was sort of stressful as it limited the things I could do and see, and I had to take into account her age, etc. etc.

This year, I'm going to meeting some of you beautiful folks. And of course, I will get to see parts of England I haven't seen before. And I'll be doing the majority of it with company that I can't even begin to describe my how much pleasure it will be to be inthe presence of.

This summer?????


First, I will be going to to the Pinkpop rockfestival in one and a half, together with Herman & Lars ( they're both gay!!!!!). We will see Metallica, Queens Of The Stone Age, RATM, Foo Fighters and many, many more perform in ONE weekend!!
For the rest, I hope the will kick off and get really warm. We have a huge familyparty in July, I will be driving a few old-timer rally's and playing lots of golf.

As for travelling:
I still hope my (business-)trip to SE-Asia will go through, Taiwan & Thailand. If so, I will be vacationing in Thailand a bit, Bangkok and maybe visit friends on one of the islands. This could be as soon as next month.....keeping my fingers crossed.
Maybe I will spend a long weekend or so in Italy, on a motorboat with friends at Lake Garda.
In August I will spend 2 weeks in Mauritius again, which is tropical paradise:

Well, I am going to see Journey in July... Can't wait.

I have a nice leisurely summer planned, my last child starts kindergarten this fall, so I am looking forward to smothering her in my love all summer long.
I am taking a nice break from my regular work schedule to be able to enjoy my girls, we will do the Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm and Six Flags trip, I always look forward to those. I also want to go to a waterpark this summer. We will spend major time at the beach, but that's not too wild as the pacific ocean is only 10 minutes outside my front door. I look forward to bar-b-que's and swim time....and 2 two of my nieces are getting married this summer!
