i think i trust different people in different ways, based on how easy it is to relate to them on different topics. if i "mistrust" someone, it may not have to do as much with me being afraid they'll screw me over, but it might have more to do with not really feeling like they have a lot of experience or investment, and if i trusted them with a particular thing, it might be an unfair thing to lay on them. if that makes sense. shrug

like i'm all complex and shit lol

they're postage stamps that the post office sold a while back, and no matter how much they jack up the price of stamps, the forever stamps will have the same value as the current price of stamps. it's like perforated gold with gummy backing.

i think trusting someone with money and trusting someone with sensitive information are two completely different forms of trust, and it's kind of silly to assume just because someone can keep a secret that they'll pay back a loan promptly or vice versa. and i'm not saying that to be all untrustful of people - i just think it's being fair about people and their limitations. shrug

I totally agree. There are people I'd trust to pay me back, but I wouldn't dare tell them something I want kept secret. Some people have big mouths. lol

yes and no. money seems more cut and dried, but i've seen friendships really go south because of money lending issues. if i had to choose between sharing a secret and lending someone money, i don't know which i would consider more potentially volatile. i really don't care about money that much, but if i'm trusting them enough to lend them more than i can afford to give out, that raises the stakes considerably.
