sad Sorry

As far as I know and unless your rat stars in Ratatouille, rats are NOT what you'd call gourmets.

So basically that means they'll eat anything you put in their way nod

Hope it helps and your headache disappears sad

they don't eat peanut butter again after the first 3 times we caught one, it is like they worked it out that they will die if they touch it.
I was hoping someone would know something that is the right consistency for the rat to set the trap off.

oooh!!! while I have you, is there a spanish dish with tomato and capsicum (red peppers rolleyes ) in a pan where you crack some eggs into it, and grill with a slice of spicy salami or chorizo on top of each egg? I have it in a spanish cookbook which is called Flaming Eggs in english.

make a little balloon pouch out of plastic wrap, filled with peanut butter. Poke holes in it with a toothpick and put that on the trap. That way they have to actually pull it to get it. That's the trick.

Poor rats! We always used peanut butter. But cat/dog food sounds like a good idea. thumbs up!

And having worked in a book warehouse, apparently the spines of hardcover books will work as well! biggrin
