The problem is that she doesn't own the the dress, the dress is owning HER.

Look at her body. Great by all accounts especially after popping out two little ones in the last 4(?) years. Look at the legs: she looks like she's been doing whatever's the legitimate equivilent to Suzanne Sommers "Thighmaster" excercises.

But the main problem is that she has not the carriage and countenance to pull off that ensemble. She doesn't look confident and she's not WORKING the dress at all.

When you wear something that bold you've got to have not only hair and make-up in place, but you've got to give us shoulders, leg position, and DIVA stance.

She gives us none of the above and that's why what would otherwise be a fun and daring look appears blasè and awkward on her. It could be a great dress on the right personality. But post-birth, macro-biotic, earth mama Gwenyth is not the one to pull this particular look off...
