The greatest day in television rerun history

Is on tonight. There are (count 'em) 8 classic X-Files episodes on tonight. Most of them are pretty rare airings and several are from the best season (7). If you're a fan, definitely check them out. The perfect way to spend your Devil's Night.

Here's a list of what's on and a brief hint as to what each is about:

6pm Talitha Cumi (the healer, Jeremiah Smith)
7pm Fresh Bones (voodoo and prison themes)
8pm Grotesque (gargoyles)
9pm The Calusari (doppelganger and mysticism)
10pm Die Hand, Die Verletzt (murderous teachers)
12am Fight Club (Kathie Griffin and her evil twin)
1am Je Souhaite (genie)
2am Requiem (a return to the agents' fist case together, 7 years prior)

While this would indeed be a good day in television history I seem to recall a M*A*S*H marathon that lasted 24 hours sometime back. I'm also partial to the Star Trek - TNG marathons.

Yeah, there have been 12 hour X-Files marathons on FX. But they're usually all Season 1 or a viewer's choice poll. What's special about tonight is how many top-notch, rare episodes are being shown. I'm taping every single one of them!

Didn't have the $100 a season to throw down to own them all, huh? I started collecting, but it was getting too expensive so I stopped.

I have box 1 and 5 and plan on getting 6 next Tuesday. I want them all eventually though. Many of the ones tonight are from season 7 though, my favorite.

I should specify, the 6, midnight, 1 and 2 airings are on TNT and 7-11 is on SciFi.

You know, I started watching one the other night... Monday I think on TNT... it was about a sea monster. I can't remember the name of it, but it looked rather good.

That one's called 'Quagmire'. The one where her little dog Queequeg gets eaten by an alligator.

You mean you didn't watch all the way through? Tonight's your chance to make up for it then. wink

I think that is it! It started with a "Q".. the last thing I saw was a guy fishing and he pulled up a boot with a leg attached.

You can get Season 6 through Amazon.ca for around $70 with shipping included (this is using the $10 off coupon listed below). Basically the reason it's so cheap is that you pay in Canadian money which is worth a lot less then US money. I got Sopranos Season 3 for around $45 (US) from this site. Shipping took about a week.

www.amazon.ca

Use coupon code:

CANADASMAG5T ($10 off expires 10/31/00)

suomynona hipped me to this site.

Check this link as he explains things a little clearer and offers other deals:

I know it sounds odd, but it really works and you can save a lot of money.

I didn't really like that episode. I thought it was weak.
I mean, like, where is the sun?
