The Pistons bench is SCARY. Maxiell's a beast, Theo Ratliff can still block anyone's shot, Stuckey, Afflalo and Lindsey Hunter can all score and provide defense, hell even our 12th Walter Hermann can take you to the hole or drop a three from half court.

Probably the deepest team in the league right now.

Joe Dumars may be a better GM than he was a player.

Poor Pax.
Man, he really thought that Ben Wallace thing was going to work out. We laughed about it. Dumars knew Wallace wasn't worth the max, yet still was going to pay him enough to show him how much he meant to the team. Wallace could've ended up like Dumars and wrote his own ticket in Detroit. Could've run for mayor probably. Ah, well.

Pax is clueless. In 5 years, the guy has NOT drafted, signed or traded 4 a single NBA all-star.

I'll take Boston's 5 and the bench over Detroit
all day,any day...GREEN 17 I am no bandwagon jumper
I've been a C's fan all my life..and this team is for real.
Besides if I see one more Detroit vs. San Antonio finals
matchup,I'll drive off a cliff

Awwww!

Don't hate because your team had to make a blockbuster trade just to show up to the party that Detroit and San Antonio have ruled for the last few years. Again, it's not about superstars it's about TEAMS.

Ya'll will see. Garnett will tweak an ankle and that'll be it. Your team will fall apart so freaking fast it'll seem like a dream.

Detroit's 5 played with ya'll during the regular season because they were saving themselves for the second season that they always have to have energy for. Boston doesn't know anything about that yet. But they will this year.....

I'm keeping my eye on the Hornets/Mavs series, and the battle between the old master(Kidd) and the young upstart(CP3). That's going to be nice.

And DeShawn Stevenson needs to tone down the smack - LeBron overrated? That's boy's just asking to get posterized.

Have 2 agree with u on that. Detroit's bench is peaking at the right time. they may be just as scary as Boston in the playoffs, so all u Boston fans be on alert, cuz u no deep down that Detroit and not just just ur beloved Celtics can win the ECF
why in God's name do u wanna make me cry

WRONG: The Lakers hold that title - Radmonovic, Ariza, Vujacic, Turiaf, Farmar, Newble, Mbenga, and Mihm.

(Did he say PJ Freakin' Brown? spit His ass ain't played since 1995 or somethin' LOL)

IMO, the West isn't a lock to win the NBA Championship. I feel Boston or Detroit can take down any western conference team, including the Spurs.
